A Thousand Word Photos invites photographers to share a photo with a writer who then creates a short story of a thousand words inspired by the image they receive.  

The stories are published on our website and read to stroke patients at hospitals across London by actors working with the charity Interact Stroke Support. We raise money for the charity through a series of live events with actors reading out selected stories in front of the image that inspired it.
